Summary/Objective

Monnit, the global IoT industry leader in remote monitoring solutions, is looking for a highly motivated, top performing, driven individual to manage Monnit’s growing sales team as the Director of Sales. The Director of Sales will mentor Monnit’s sales representatives to build a cohesive, collaborative, and successful team and will be responsible for motivating and managing the team to achieve both individual and team goals.


Job Responsibilitie
  • Manage and lead teams to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and goals by:
    • Conducting regular weekly meetings to ensure execution of sales responsibilities.
    • Monitoring CRM metrics and activity.
    • Conducting pipeline meetings with teams.
    • Working with accounts both large and small.
    • Defining and teaching proper lead qualification and send leads to appropriate team members.
    • Establishing and understand the metrics by which teams will be monitored and measured by, and educate them on the metrics.
    • Setting quotas and goals with team members.
  • Mentor and train sales team members.
  • Recruit and hire top performers.
  • Listen in and be present to provide feedback to sales teams on proper sales techniques and closes.
Qualifications
  • BA or BS degree in related field
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a sales management role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in developing and training new sales representatives
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Tools, NetSuite, and able to type at least 40 wpm.

Monnit's sensing solutions are designed to be easily installed and used by anyone wanting to remotely monitor information and activities, including access, presence of water, luminosity, temperature, humidity, and vibration in or around structures, machinery, and various environments.

Job Description/Tasks:

Assist the engineering team by developing, testing and troubleshooting current and future products. The areas includes testing firmware for new products and applications, seeing that the sensors behave as expected as well as assist in characterization of new products. The engineer will need to troubleshoot problems and contribute ideas for problem resolutions and enhancements. Another area includes testing our monitoring software GUI for correct behavior and user functionality. The final area includes introductory design work in both hardware and firmware design for actual products. This is a significant opportunity for engineers looking to broaden their scope of skills. Other additional engineering tasks as needed may be requested.

Requirements:
Monnit Product Development requires the following areas of expertise:
  • EE Degree with 2-5 years minimum experience.
  • Firmware: Experience in design of C based coding is required. Other languages including Python, C#, Java, or DOS/Linux scripting is also preferred but not required.
  • Hardware: creation of logical schematic capture, module creation, and hardware layout with Kicad Software a bonus

Summary/Objective

We are looking for self-starters with a desire to assist customers in solving their problems with Monnit solutions. Sales Reps are responsible for direct business-to-business sales and presents to all levels of influencers (C Suite to purchasing) and must be able to tailor communication and presentation approaches depending on the audience.


Job Responsibilities
  • Gain a mastery of Monnit’s growing product lines of sensors, gateways and software and intelligently discuss the products in a consultative manner.
  • Understand customer goals and challenges and then establish Monnit’s products as the best solution available.
  • Pipeline management is a must for this position. Manage a large pipeline, including identifying top accounts, promising/developing accounts, and providing monthly, quarterly and annual projections.
  • Develop, enhance, or refine sales pitches by vertical market based on information discovered during sales calls.
  • Share with other team members information gleaned during the sales process that they can leverage as well with their accounts to achieve success.
  • Consistently reach and exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Responsible for customer follow-up
  • Create personal marketing plan
  • Use excellent oral communication and best practices in customer service when interacting with customers

Skills/Qualifications

Summary/Objective

The technical support associate responds to telephone, written, or Internet-based inquiries of both basic and complex technical nature supporting the company's wireless hardware and software products. Associate will be working directly with company’s direct customers and various partners (OEM, VAR, SI). Analyzes both routine and non-routine problems with wireless equipment, software applications, and network performance to identify problem root cause and recommend corrective action.

Many support calls are routine but some may require deviation from traditional answers. Recommends solutions to customer questions which may require follow-up or escalation to a higher level of expertise. Handles situations which require adaptation of response or research according to unique customer situations. May orient, train, and support other Monnit employees. Maintains log of problems so recurring problems can be reported to both hardware and software engineering departments.



Job Responsibilities:
  • Take support calls, online chats from customers (often times multi-tasking)
  • Responding to customer questions via email and ticketing system
  • Following trouble shooting steps with customers to determine issues
  • Updating customer accounts
  • Explaining and support features about software
  • Troubleshooting network issues as it pertains to specific Monnit products
  • Escalating customer’s issues to engineering as needed
  • Write support articles as required


Skills/Qualifications
  • Maintain a clean, courteous and professional demeanor
  • Physically able to sit long hours in front of a computer taking phone calls
  • Have great communication skills both written and verbal, and can read and write the English language well
  • Have a high level of knowledge working with computers, routers, switches and cellular network
  • Possess a good understanding of networking and internet addressing.
  • A basic understanding of how radio frequencies work
  • Have a minimum of two years previous customer service experience
  • Previous call center experience, preferably in a technical support capacity

The Mechanical Engineer provides hands-on design engineering expertise to new product development programs and product improvement initiatives. Specific responsibilities include product and tooling design, model-making, prototyping, material selection, design validation, and product design documentation. It is expected that this individual demonstrates the ability to apply advanced engineering principles to complex issues and works effectively with cross-functional teams. The designs and products developed must meet overall product and marketing requirements.


Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct upfront conceptual design evaluations
  • Design products, tooling and manufacturing processes for new product development from prototypes to scaled manufacturing
  • Lead design decisions with varying levels of technical complexity
  • Ensure quality is built into designs and driven throughout product and process development
  • Participate in other aspects of product development and sustainability such as: solving manufacturing issues, product performance, product improvements, and value engineering
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Work in close support of the marketing department in the analysis of customer need (VOC) and the development of product specifications
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and other core disciplines (manufacturing and process engineering, quality and marketing)

Job Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 0-5 years’ experience

  • Ability to apply engineering principles to material selections, process definitions, qualification testing and data analysis for new product development or product improvement projects
